Douglas Lwanga has finally come out to silence the ongoing rumor surrounding his absence on ‘The Beat’ show on NTV.
Numerous speculations have been said on why he is no longer on the show; some saying he was fired whereas others argued that he was just on a break.
The purple party host announced today on his official face book page that he has officially left the Serena based station.
“Sometimes life has to move on especially if better opportunities arise, that is the only way we grow. It’s not a bad thing; we are humans we always pursue better and more. The principal is simple Just be the best you can be, never settle,” Lwanga posted.
He added, “I have been watching, hearing and seeing stories about me which have shocked me. Never in my life have I ever been fired from a job as some people reported, reason being from day one in all companies I have worked, I am driven by passion.”
Lwanga thanked his former bosses, NTV, for opening doors for him, “It was a wonderful journey and experience, going forward I will not be hosting ‘The Beat’. The journey was amazing I don’t regret.”
He hinted on the fact that he was in the ‘kitchen’ cooking something new, bigger and better for his fans, however he argued them to be patient and trust him till it is the right time to disclose it.
“Thank you for always believing in me my people, The love and support you show me unconditionally is what has brought me this far. It’s what keeps me going regardless the challenges,” he concluded.
