The player recruitment spree continues at Express Football Club after the confirmation of their fifth recruit in striker Mustafa Kiragga.
The 19 year old center forward joins the Red Eagles from Alexandria FC in South Africa and has signed a two year deal.
“I am happy to be a Red Eagle, as a striker my target is to score as many goals and also help the team perform well,” Kiragga told the club website on Saturday.
Express FC managed 30 goals last season with forward Frank Kalanda topping the club scoring charts with 11 goals across all competitions hence Kiragga’s arrival will offer more options to the forward line next season.
He becomes the fifth club signing after two goalkeepers in Denis Otim and Cryspus Kusiima plus defender Richard Bbosa and midfielder Abel Michael Eturude.
Last season, Express finished in the 9th position with 31 points from 25 matches and will hope for a better finishing come the next season earmarked for 17th October.
