Ugandan defender Savio ‘Ginola’ Kabugo has completed a move to join Congolese champions AS Vita.
The gangly defender officially put pen to paper on a three year deal on Thursday to become a new player for AS Vita.
Kabugo who had joined SC Villa at the start of the 2018/19 season played just a few games with the Jogoos with his last appearance coming in the 1-0 loss against Onduparaka FC in October.
SC Villa also confirmed his departure indicating the club and the player had a clause in his contract that would allow him to move if he got another team.
Before joining SC Villa, Kabugo had previously played for Proline FC, URA FC, KCCA FC and SC Victoria University.
He becomes the third Ugandan player to join AS Vita following Yunus Ssentamu and the late Johnson Bagoole.
