Celebrated city deejaying duo of Slick Stuart and Roja has opened up on how they met before working together saying it was all God’s plan.
The Deejays who will be hosting their annual mixtape on 23rd November at Golf Course Hotel told ChimpLyf that they never meant to be a duo but it just happened.
“We were friends from way back and about four years ago we decided to make a mix tape together and we held our first party at Venom and it sold out. That’s how we were created because people always expected us to be together,” they said.
When asked about the challenges they have gone through to make it to the top in the industry, the two smiled before saying, “The normal ones, we can say it wasn’t a smooth ride but we are still standing.”
Slick Stuart and Roja said this after a press conference of the much anticipated Mixtape release party today morning where they promised to shake down the premises with their selection.
“We promise the ground will shake and we are doing better things than the past four years,” said Slick Stuart.
The night will also see performances from other deejays like Selector Jay, Naselow, Dash among others and artists likes Nina Roz, Fik Fameica and Spice Diana.
