The Ministry of Health has Thursday evening announced that all 338 samples tested for Coronavirus at Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) have turned negative.
The Health Minister Dr Jane Ruth Aceng posted on her official Twitter handle.
“All 338 tested today are negative for COVID 19. Thank God. Ugandans, we can do this – wash hands with soap and water frequently, maintain a safe social distance and stay home,” Aceng said in a tweet.
The number of COVID 19 confirmed cases in Uganda still stands at 53.
Uganda has not registered any COVID-19 related death.
