Court Sets Judgement Date for Oulanya Divorce Case

High Court Family Division Judge, information pills Justice Alexandria Nkonge has set the October 3rd as the date at which she is going to deliver judgement in a divorce case filed in by Deputy speaker Jacob oulanya seeking to officially seperate with his wife.

The date has been delivered by the Deputy registrar High court family division, cost Justin Atukwaasa in the presence of Oulanya’s counsel Kenneth Engoru.

Oulanya is acussing his wife, Winnie Amoo Okot, for denying him conjugal rights.

The ruling had been scheduled for today but this has not been possible after the respondent in this matter, Ms. Amoo and her lawyer failed to turn up in court today as expected.

Oulanya through his lawyers of M/S Lex Uganda Advocates and Solicitors filed to court last year seeking to dissolve his 3 year marriage to Amoo on grounds of denial of marital rights as his wife abandoned their matrimonial home and went to USA.

In her response, Amoo supported their separation over what she called irreconcilable differences as she accuses Oulanya of being adulterous to the extent of sleeping with their house help.
