Famous Congolese soukous legend Aurlus Mabele has died in Paris, France.
The 67 year old soukous singer breathed his last on Friday March 20, at a hospital in France where he was admitted on Thursday.
The ‘Asta Di’ hit maker is believed to have died as a result of complications arising from stroke and throat cancer that he has been struggling with for years.
He is also reported to have contracted Coronavirus infection which weakened his lungs, facilitating his death the more.
Mabele, the brains behind ‘Loketo band’, is well known for keeping the Soukous music genre on top in Africa and the rest of the World with his hit songs including; Asta Di, Diblo Dibala, Evelyne, Femme Ivoirienne and Betty among others.
