Chimplyf has reliably been informed that Club Pilsner that happens to be the official sponsors of Midnight Drum, has spent over half a million Euros in the production of the jam.
‘Midnight Drum’ is a new hit song by Apass featuring Fik Fameica and Rouge a Congolese rapper who resides in South Africa. The song, which also features DJ Maphorisa was shot in Kampala and caused a wave of speculation within the Ugandan market when we saw some of the biggest names in music production from South Africa in the country.
Following its release on the airwaves in late September this year, ‘Midnight Drum’ has received massive reviews from listeners. Earlier this week, we were shocked to see that the song also has Club beer Radio and TV adverts.
This can only leave us to speculate that the end game for the brand from the beginning was to produce the song and use it as a baseline in its 2018 advertising campaign dubbed ‘Refresh Your Beat’.
According to the video teasers we have seen on Apass, Fik and Swangz pages, we cannot wait to see its music video and hear what the ’ Music Lovers’ think of it.
