Fred Katukaya, the primary suspect in the murder of a female Chinese national at a factory in Mukono was Friday evening brought before Mukono Magistrate Court.
The suspect, who is believed to have shot dead Yei Su, a cashier at Nile Steel and Plastics in Mukono District appeared before Magistrate Sarah Tusiime.
Katukaya was brought to amidst tight security.
It is unclear however, whether or not he was charged and with what charges, as the media was not allowed anywhere near the court house.
Katukaya entered the court cambers at around 4pm and left at 5:45pm.
He covered his face with a white jacket as he entered and left the court room.
He however, seemed to be limping and moved with unease as though he was in pain.
The suspect Katukaya according to police, confessed he stole a star pistol used in the murder, on 30, August 2017 and has been using it for various robbery attacks.
