Government of China through the Chinese Embassy in Kampala has donated ICT equipment to the Government of Uganda.
The donation was announced by the Chinese Ambassador to Uganda Zheng Zhuqiang minister as he witnessed the handing over of donations to the recent landslide victims in Bududa.
The ICT equipment will be used by the Office of the Prime Minister to enhance the delivery of services to the public.
The equipment worth 80,000 US Dollars includes 95 sets of desk tops, 95 laptops,10 inbuilt computers,10 printers and projectors.
The equipment was handed over to Mary Karoro Okurut, the Minister in charge of General Duties who represented the prime minster in presence of the two line minsters Hillary Onek and Musa Echweru by the Ambasador of China.
