Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga has denied knowledge and involvement in the forthcoming Save Danz Kumapeesa car wash.
Not so long ago, a poster was produced and put to circulation featuring the Premiere’s image.
The poster seemed to imply that he will be part of the charity drive.
Through his official social communication channels, Mayiga says he “doesn’t have plans of partaking in any car wash at Panamera.”
Mayiga further branded the makers of the poster “crooks who should be avoided.”
When followers of his page asked him not to respond to any small matters, Mayiga said “Your intention of conning Ugandans has been foiled,” adding that “Try something else.”
Nevertheless, the save Danz Kumapeesa car wash will be held on July 1 at Panamera bar with an aim of raising funds for the audio producer.
Danz, who is behind hits like “Musawo” and “Mbozi Za Malwa” was attacked on his way from work by unidentified hit men who left him nearly lifeless.
Artists, socialites and members of the public will gather to raise funds for his treatment at Nsambya hospital where he is currently admitted.
