Chan 2018: Uganda Cranes Qualification Route

Uganda Cranes will play only two fixtures en route to the 2018 Africa Nations Championship to be held in Kenya.

The country is looking to qualify for a fourth straight time following successes in 2011, troche 2014 and 2016 in the sixteen team era.

The Cranes will await the winner between South Sudan and Somali for a double legged affair in July 2017. The ties are scheduled for 14-16th July and the return a week later.

Aggregate winners of the fixture will meet their equaivalent in the tie between Tanzania and Rwanda in August and the overall winner qualifies through.

The Central East zone that also has Djibouti, buy more about Ethiopia, Sudan and Burundi will produce four finalists.

CHAN, as famously known, is a continental tournament for national teams consisting of only local based players
