Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) is the champion of the 2018-19 Uganda Premier League.
The city lads dethroned Vipers on Tuesday by coming from a goal down to force a draw against Ndejje University away in Bombo.
Anwar Ntege had put the relegation-battling side ahead as early as the 22nd minute but the Kasasiro boys were determined to seal the victory with two matches to spare.
Trailing at halftime, KCCA tactician Mike Mutebi decided to pull off Jackson Nunda immediately after the breather and introduced Ibrahim Saddam Juma.
The change proved the gaffee right when Juma smashed in the priceless equaliser after thirteen minutes on the pitch.
Patrick Henry Kaddu almost gave the visitors the three points with his strike late in the added minutes but the linesman flagged it off.
The win lifts KCCA to an unassailable 60-point mark with two games to play. It also becomes their 13th title, three behind record holders SC Villa.
