Ahead of his much anticipated 2017 “Hit after Hit” concert, singer Jose Chameleone has received a whooping 100M Cash boost from Uganda Breweries under their flagship brand Bell Lager.
The announcement was made during the singer’s press briefing held on Wednesday afternoon at Uganda Breweries Offices, Rooftop bar.
“UBL has injected in over UGX 100M. They didn’t stop at that, they also did over 10 billboards across Kampala,” said Balaam Barugahara, the concert promoter.
“Their support has been both in cash and kind,” he added.
Speaking at the briefing, Juliana Kaggwa, the Marketing manager UBL expressed how proud they are to associate with and host Chameleone at their premises.
“Uganda breweries through the brand Bell has for the past two decades or so supported Ugandan music,” she noted
“Today for the first time in, let’s call it a decade, we’re proud to host the legend in his own skin at the rooftop,” Juliana said.
Speaking to the press, Jose Chameleone thanked UBL for the boss, urging the company not to stop at him but bankroll other artists too.
“Please don’t stop at me, support other artists too,” he said.
The singer also promised not only a thrilling experience, but the best of his showcase ever.
“I’ve always been walking and running, this time I want to fly,” Chameleone said.
