Singers Jose Chameleone and Ray G had a successful 2019 as Ray G was doing good musically and Chameleone had hit collabos on the airwaves too.
Ray G caught fan’s and music lovers’ attention when his song ‘Omusheshe’ featuring Spice Diana, went viral country wide.
To give it more meaning and reinforce his recognition in the music industry after the support given to the song, Ray G decided to hold a concert which was indeed very successful.
Chameleone on the other hand, boosted his candidature for Lord Mayor in the coming 2021 elections. He claims he is going to own that seat and is optimistic that his fans will never let him down.
Though he did not have any serious hits in 2019, the singer still remains relevant in the industry as he was seen performing only in very big shows both in the country and abroad.
However, it seems that 2020 has started on a really good note for Chameleone as he will be headlining the ‘Johnnie Walker Highball’ tour which will be opening up the year this Thursday at the Signature Premium Bar in Mbarara town.
The star, who is undoubtedly one of the most popular artists of the 21st century in Africa, is expected to take revelers in Mbarara down memory lane with some of his biggest hit songs of all time including Jamila, Dorotia, Valu Valu among others.
The East African music heavy weight will be performing alongside one of Mbarara’s latest big talent Ray G.
To spice up the tour the more, there will also be music mixes from DJ Selector Jay and Mbarara’s local DJs including MC Kacheche, Riddim Selekta, DJ Grammer 254, Alex, Sadat, Stevra, and MC Ruff Baz among others.
Organised by Muchachos, the tour that took a break at the end of last year after a thrilling stop in Fort Portal is aimed at introducing the upcountry folks to a brand-new way through which they can consume their whisky whilst giving them an awesome experience.
After Mbarara, the tour will go to Masaka later in the year.
