Chameleone Clears Air On Grabbing Microphone From Government Chief Whip Nankabirwa

A lot has been circulating on social media about how Leone island boss Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone grabbed the microphone from Government chief whip Hon Ruth Nankabirwa at his recent Saba Saba concert.

His action has been highly condemned by many, saying it was uncalled for, unruly conduct and disrespect of officials

While addressing the media yesterday, Chameleone said he wasn’t  earlier been informed about Nankabirwa’s address at the concert and that the Hon was taking long yet revelers were asking him deliver his promise of 3 hour Nonstop performance, which they had paid for.

The ‘Kipepewo’ songster said people were not happy with Hon Nankabirwa’s speech and were asking him to resume his performance from where he had taken a break.

“People were asking me to perform and at that time I was hyping my show to the top and the long speech was getting my fans fade up.  I even noticed some throwing bottles that’s why I couldn’t let what happened to a certain artist to have happened at my Concert”,

It is reported that the events Guru Balaam Barugahara had invited Nankabirwa as the chief guest to officially launch his Radio station ( Radio 4) where he took advantage of the Saba Saba concert for the event.

Chameleone in addition urged event promoters to always communicate to artistes about such addresses if they are to happen at a concert.
