KCCA FC is through to the final of the 2019 Cecafa Kagame Club championships after laboring hard to beat Zambia’s Green Eagles 4-3 in a highly entertaining encounter.
Youngster Allan Okello staged a man-of-the-match performance with a brace and an assist as the Uganda premier League champions worked into extra time to march to their first final since 1978.
Okello opened the account as early as the second minute when he wheezed through from the midfield, cut into his favorite left foot before unleashing a heavy load that Green Eagles’ Sebastian Mwanje

Nkunda and Shamende combined well in the 52nd minute with sleeky telepathic passes snaking through to KCCA’s box before the latter sealed his brace, and put Eagles in the lead.
Okello answered back with his second in the 78th to force the match into extra time. Saddam Juma made a run into the box before cutting out for Okello who easily curled it in.
Okello turned provider in the 97th minute after running through before setting up Mike Mutyaba who hit it in with his second touch.
Another youngster Sadat Anaku sealed the win shortly after the 100th minute. He controlled a long throw from Obenchan, rounded up a defender and then calmly slotted in.
Chola grabbed the third for the Zambians with only two minutes remaining on the clock but was not enough to save the ship. KCCA will now face defending champions Azam FC on Sunday.
