Burial arrangements of fallen cancer victim Carol Atuhirwe have been revealed.
ChimpLyf has learnt that the body will be flown in on Monday next week.
The conclusion follows a closed door meeting between family and friends on Friday evening.
Sources privy to the deceased’s family informed us that the body will be aboard Emirates Airways.
Later, there will be a service at All saints Church Nakasero on Tuesday.
The body will be taken to her ancestral home in Ishongororo, Kabale Village, Ibanda District for burial on Wednesday afternoon.
Atuhirwe hit the public domain early 2016 when a fundraising drive was launched to collect money for her surgery in India.
She, through the campaign, won sympathy of many Ugandans who generously contributed to the cause.
On April 26 2016, a car wash fundraiser was held at Panamera Bar in Naguru, Kampala to further raise funds estimated at around Shs. 264M.
Atuhirwe succumbed to throat cancer on Thursday June 1 at around 9:30PM at Narayana Hospital, in Bangalore, India, where she had been admitted for close to a year.
Carol was aged 31.
