Aggregate (South Sudan 1-8 Uganda)
Uganda Hippos booked a slot into the final qualifying stage of the 2018 CAF U20 tournament.
Despite playing away from home, Uganda secured a 3-0 win to confirm their place in the next stage.
Steven Mukwala(brace) and Allan Okello scored to help the Hippos register a comfortable victory in the return leg game played on Saturday at Juba Stadium.
Head coach Matia Lule made only two changes from the team that played in the first leg with Robert Kitabalwa replacing suspended Mustafa Kiiza at left back.
The other change saw Joshua Okiror start on bench and Ivan Eyamu started in his place.
The opening 45 minutes ended goalless but an effervescent Hippos side came determined in the second stanza to dispatch their South Sudan counterparts.
The result means Uganda advance 8-1 on aggregate after winning the first leg 5-1 at Startimes stadium.
The Hippos will now take on Cameroon in the second and final qualifying round with the final tournament slated for November in Niger.
