The Confederation of African Football (CAF) through its website, has revealed dates for the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
According to CAF, the first Leg ties of the preliminary rounds will be played between 20th to 22nd November, 2020 while second Leg will be take place between 27th to 29th November, 2020.
Round one for the first leg of the qualifiers will be held between 11th to 13th December, while second legs are slated to take place from 18th to 20th December, 2020.
The group stages of the Champions League will start on the 12th February, 2021 and end on 11th April while the final is scheduled for 17th July, 2021.
On the other side, the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round first leg ties will be played on the 12th and 13th February while the second legs will be played on the 19th February, 2021.
The Confederation Cup group stages will kick start from 10th March to 26th April while the finals will be played on the 10th of July 2021.
Therefore, the member Associations have been given from September 1st to October 20th, 2020 to register their clubs for next season’s Championships.
The first registration window starts on 21st October and ends on 5th November 2020 while the second window will start on 6th to 19th November, 2020.
Vipers Sports Club who were eventual winners of last season’s Uganda Premier League and runners up KCCA FC will represent Uganda in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Championships.
