The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed match officials that will handle Uganda Cranes’ AFCON qualifier first leg duel against South Sudan.
Uganda Cranes will play host to South Sudan on Saturday 14th November at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende since Mandela National Stadium is now designated as a COVID-19 treatment center.
Three days later, Uganda Cranes will fly out to Nairobi, Kenya ahead of the return leg in another group B contest.
CAF has named Messie Jessie Oved Nkounkou Mvoutou of Congo Brazzaville as the center referee for the first leg tie.
He will be assisted by countrymate Styven Danek Styven Moutsassi Moyo and Jospin Luckner MALONGA from Central African Republic as the first and second assistants respectively.
Lazard Tsiba Kamba of Congo is the reserve referee while Tanzania’s Khalid Abdallah Mohamed will be the match commissioner with Rwanda’s Michel Gasingwa assuming the role of referee assessor.
The Uganda Cranes have four points from two group B matches having defeated Malawi (2-0) at Namboole and drew goalless against Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou.
