FUFA Big League outfit Bukedea Town Council FC has parted ways with its head coach Bashir Kalungi.
In a club statement released on Tuesday, the Eastern region club confirmed they have mutually agreed to terminate their contract.
” This is to confirm that Bukedea Town Council FC has mutually agreed to terminate its relationship with Mr. Bashir Kalungi who has been serving as club head coach. ” The statement reads.
The reasons as to why the two parties have ended their relationship remain scanty but the development could have come as a result of poor performance.
Bukedia are yet to pick a win this season in three games, managing just a point they got in the goalless draw against Kataka FC.
They lost 1-0 to Jinja Municipal Council Hippos in their opening fixture this season at Emokori ground.
The team will start life without Kalungi with a home encounter against money bags Wakiso Giants this Thursday.
