Bugerere Beefs Up Roster With Three More Acquisitions

Bugerere Ssaza team management has unveiled three more signings, strengthening their squad prior to the 2020 Masaza Cup tournament.

The new players in center forward Umar Luswabi, goalkeeper Ashraf Lubega and defender Dube Kato were on Friday unveiled at Hotel Lagrand in Bwaise, a Kampala city suburb.

Goalkeeper Lubega joins Bugerere from Kyadondo. He also plays for Edgars Football Club in the Kampala Regional league.

Center forward Luswabi extends his contract with Bugerere after featuring for them last season while defender Kato plays for the Kampala regional side, Bweyogerere FC.

The trio joins the two Regional league compatriots earlier signed by the Ssaza in Edgars Football Club striker Paul Mbazira and Black Stars’ center forward Ronald Senkayi.

Also, Bugerere team manager Andrew Ssekitto Mutube opened up on being in negotiations with Ssese striker Reagan Lukwago, an Nkumba University student playing his trade for Edgars Football Club.

Bugerere has never won the championship since its inception in 2004.
