Seems like Kenya is going experiencing the ‘Kyagulanyi effect’ more than Uganda!
Singer Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Itungo Kyagulnayi have graced the cover of Kenyan Magazine-Parents.
The power couple is featured in the November edition of the prestigious magazine where they get candid about their relationship, purpose and goals.
In the subsequent interview, Bobi Wine rains praises on his wife Barbie, saying God gave her to him so as to keep him strong and alive, adding that she has been a wife, friend, mother and a partner.
Barbie has since taken to Instagram to post the magazine cover writing, “If you are in Kenya, you need to get yourself a copy. We need copies brought home! Am sure most of us don’t want to miss out on this.”
This comes barely a day after fashion designer Sylvia Owori questioned Barbie’s influence as woman in Uganda after the singer’s wife was chosen as a one of the panelists at the recently Kampala Geopolitics Conference to discuss women issues at Makerere University.
However, fans online were quick to jump to Barbie’s support, saying she is one of the most influential women Uganda has had indeed.
