Bobi Wine, Tumukunde Suspend Saturday Campaigns to Attend Muzaata’s Burial

The National Unity Platform party (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine and one of his counterparts Lt. General Henry Tumukunde have postponed their Saturday campaigns to attend the burial of the popular Muslim cleric, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte, who passed away on Friday.

Muzaata passed on at International Hospital in Kampala (IHK), where he was admitted few weeks ago with an undisclosed illness.

By the time of his demise, Muzaata was the head of Dawah at the Kibuli Muslim faction led by Prince Hajji Kasim Nakibinge, and Supreme Mufti Suleiman Ndirangwa.

According to family members, the late will be laid to rest in Saturday November 5, at his ancestral home in Kigogwa, Matugga in Wakiso district.

“Tomorrow Saturday our message of change is supposed to be in Bukedea, Ngora and Bulambuli, but due to the untimely death of Sheikh Muzaata, we have reshceduledvit so that we mourn together with the family,” Bobi Wine posted last evening.

On the same note, the Renewed Uganda’s Lt. Gen. Tumukunde has also rescheduled his campaign program to mourn the late Sheikh Muzaata

Tumukunde was meant to meet the renewed Uganda handlers/strategic campaigning team across the country today but decided to postpone all his meeting campaigns to pay respect to Muzaata.
