Swearing-in date of the newly-elected Kyadondo East Member of Parliament (MP) Robert Ssentamu kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has been announced as Tuesday July 11.
The function which serves as the inauguration ceremony for MPs will be held at parliament where the singer will be required to carry a few of his supporters.
According to a close source, the “Bikwase Kyagulanyi” singer currently spends most of his time reading the constitution.
“He wants to be sure about everything so as to fulfill the promises he made to his people. He needs to be informed,” said the source.
It is at this function that the singer will be able to affirm his faith in the constitution and will also mark his first day in parliament.
Bobi Wine defeated four other candidates on June 30 with a percentage of 77 to represent his constituents in the 10th parliament.
