Singer and Kyadondo East MP Bobi Wine’s song ‘Tuliyambala Engule’continues making waves.
The controversial song has now been featured as the introductory soundtrack for a new US ‘They Shall Not Grow Old’ documentary film.
The film that was released last month, tells a story of World War I through the voices of the soldiers who discuss their feelings about the conflict, the food they ate, friends they made, their dreams and ultimately the triumph of humanity over the forces of evil.
Speaking about the new achievement, Bobi Wine said that he finds the movie prophetic basing on its timing and choice of soundtrack.
‘Tuliyambala Engule’ that also features singers Irene Namatovu, Pr. Wilson Bugembe, Dr. Hilderman, Irene Ntale, among others, was released in December 31 and has since amassed over One Million views on You Tube.
The song’s warm reception hasn’t also been short of controversy. Last month several pastors headed by Pr. Martin Ssempa condemned Bobi Wine for politicizing religion by altering the lyrics of the originally Born-Again Christian song.
