The demonstrators said they were angry with police’s decision to block Bobi’s concert at Busabala on Boxing Day.

Police said Bobi was trying to hold a concert without security clearance, a key requirement for a public gathering.

During today’s protest, angry youth briefly engaged security forces in running battles.
