Kyadondo East MP and singer Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool are likely to meet at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2018 next week.
This is after the ‘Kyarenga’ hit maker was announced as a panelist at the Africa Music Business Summit that will be held under the theme ‘AFRIMMA Music in a Global Village: Leveraging the Opportunities’.
The discussion that will culminate with the official awards show, will take place on November 22, at Kempinski Hotel, Accra Ghana.
Emotions have been running high in the Gagamel camp after rumors began swirling on social media that Bobi Wine was part of the jury in the awards show, where Bebe Cool has been nominated in the category of Best Male East Africa.
They were afraid Bobi Wine would influence the other juries not to award the accolade to his longtime rival Bebe Cool who has been pitted against Diamond Platinumz (Tanzania), Harmonize (Tanzania), Kagwe Mungai (Kenya), Khaligraph Jones (Kenya), Nyashinski (Kenya), Rayvanny (Tanzania) and Yamiu Mola (Ethiopia).
The development comes a few days after Bobi Wine insinuated at his ‘Kyarenga’ concert last weekend that the Gagamel boss conned President Museveni of money to buy a car following his shooting in 2010 at Centenary Park, claiming he needed to go for treatment abroad.
The 2018 All Africa Music Awards will take place on November 24, in Accra, Ghana.
