After what many of his fans believe was a successful Kyarenga concert last Saturday at One Love Beach Busabala, singer Bobi Wine has come out to thank his fans, well-wishers and fellow artistes who attended for the support.
“What a day, what a night, what a show! Thank you to the thousands of friends, supporters and fans who came down to One Love Beach Busabala last night for the Kyarenga Concert, Bobi Wine appreciated his fans.
He went on, “I cannot thank you enough for the massive show of support and solidarity. What a night!!! Not only did you show up in record numbers, the vibe was so good.”
The ‘Aidah’ singer also thanked revelers for keeping the fire burning, dancing to the songs of freedom and he confessed how he was captivated their sense of purpose, resilience and determination for a better Uganda.
“I want to send a special thank you to my fellow artistes who made the show even more colourful. If we all do our part, and God being on our side, olutalo nga luwedde tuliyambala engule mu Uganda empya loosely translated as (When the battle is done we shall wear crowns in the new Uganda)!” he concluded.
Some of the musicians who performed at the concert were Eddy Kenzo, Spice Diana, King Saha, Carol Nantongo, Nina Roz, plus his brothers Eddie Yawe and Mikie Wine among others.
Bobi Wine who hit stage in an all red outfit much to the excitement of the mammoth crowds that welcomed him with ear shuttering cheers.
