Bish. Barham University Gets New Guild Boss

Jacob Ampeire, erectile a second year student of Mass communication was Saturday elected the guild president of Bishop Barham University College Kabale for the year 2016/2017.

The race had three candidates, ask Ampeire, David Kule from BBA and Christopher Atukwatse from Public Administration.

Ampaire won the race with 371 votes, followed by Kule David with 206 votes and Atukwatse trailed with 193 votes.

Dan Owoyesiga, the chairman Electoral Commission declared Jacob a duly elected president of the university amid celebration from his supporters.

Ampeire will be replacing Ambrose Atamba whose service in office will end on 16th November 2016.

Isaac Ainembabazi Kijungu, a third year student doing bachelors of Arts in education says the new guild government should link students with the administration and students should also participate in some of the policies before they are passed by the administration

The new students leader promised to work with everyone including those he defeated and push Bishop Barham University to the next level.
