Birthday Girl Mukoova, Kibuule Shine at 8th Woodball Open

Ndejje University’s Joan Mukova and Franco Kibuule from Botladz Woodball club emerged the best performers in the 8th coral coating Woodball open held at the Uganda Christian University in Mukono over the weekend.

Mukova scored 170 strokes to beat teammate Joyce Nalubega and Maria Nakiwuka from Busitema University in the ladies singles category. Joan who had just celebrated her 23rd birthday on Saturday made amends in the absence of defending champion Lilian Zawedde.

She has previously failed to win the National accolade since 2013 where she finished 15th, buy information pills 10th in 2014 and 9th in 2015.

Franco Kibuule led the way in the males competition. The Botladz Woodball Club recorded 159, medical one and three ahead of Ndejje Woodball Club’s Onesmus Atamba and Paul Egadu from Stroke club.
