Besigye, FDC Officials Released

Unknown assailants this morning trailed and attacked Mokono Municipality MP Hon Betty Nambooze’s Husband, viagra 40mg robbing him of millions of shillings.

Henry Mukasa  Bakileke was reportedly returning from Mukono Centenary Bank from where the robbers tracked him down and took off with all his withdraw.

Hon Nambooze revealed that her husband had just withdrawn money to pay salaries for their staff and funds to clear a number of obligations she had in the Constituency

“I am most grateful to these robbers for sparing his life though, viagra ” she said.

This, she said came less than a week after an unknown assailant followed her son  after night studies and threw him down from the second floor of their school building.

The boy is now nursing an injured neck and broken limb as Namiryango junior boys investigate the matter.
The Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate, more about Dr. Kizza Besigye and other party officials who were detained at Kaguta road Police Station in Kiruhura district have been released.

The officials had a dramatic day with the police which stopped them from proceeding to Rukungiri town where they had planned a big rally.

Most of Besigye’s colleagues including Members of Parliament Paul Mwiru, order Patrick Amuriat and other party officials were arrested in the second police interception point at Kanyaryeru about 20 kilometers to Mbarara town and were detained at the nearby Sanga police station.


Dr. Besigye locked himself and remained in his V8 Land Cruiser as his colleagues were being picked and taken to police cells.

After exhausting all means in vain, police sought the help of a breakdown truck that towed  Besigye’s vehicle to the police station.

At few minutes to 5am, an order was reportedly made from the police headquarters in Kampala for the release Besigye and his colleagues who were detained at the same facility.

The order followed an unannounced visit by officials from the Danish Embassy to the same police unit.

“The doctor has been released and everyone who were here. We are yet to decide on the next course of action but we are more likely returning back to Kampala,” One of the activists said.

The police deputy spokeswoman, Polly Namaye earlier told ChimpReports on phone that the FDC leaders were only taken for questioning following a road accident on Saturday morning.

Several vehicles in the opposition convoy from Kampala to Rukungiri crashed at Nkoni along Masaka-Mbarara highway when a police officer allegedly threw a metallic thorny barrier on the road.
