Uganda Cranes and Proline FC defender Bernard Muwanga is reportedly in advanced talks with Uganda Premier League side Kyetume Football Club.
Muwanga is said to have finalized personal talks and an agreement with the Slaughters has been reached and is expected to sign a two-year contract.
Since his arrival at Lugogo in 2018, Muwanga has struggled to claim a starting slot in Proline’s squad.
The 26-year old defender also featured for Bright Stars FC between (2023-2016) before signing for Sports Club Villa.
In 2018, he departed the UPL record Champions for KCCA FC and was later loaned to Proline FC but his tenure with the Lugogo outfit hasn’t been impressive.
In case the deal goes through, Muwanga will be the first signing for newly appointed coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi.
Last season, Kyetume finished the abruptly concluded Uganda Premier League in the 11th position with 30 points from 25 matches played.
