Bebe Cool has struck again with his heart of gold!
The philanthropic singer has announced that he will be donating proceeds from his upcoming ‘Tondeka Ekiwatule Mutima Gwa Zabbu’ concert towards paying school fees for 200 primary school children in a yet to be identified district in 2019.
Bebe Cool took to Facebook on Saturday November 17, to make this known.
“…I will return to stage performances starting this #BOXING_DAY_26th_Dec_TONDEKA_EKIWATULE_MUTIMA_GWA_ZABBU and the proceeds will go towards paying school fees for 200 primary children in a chosen district 2019…” Bebe Cool posted.
The 2018 edition of the annual concert will take place on Boxing Day December 26, at its usual venue, Kiwatule Recreation Center.
This will mark the first time the singer resumes public performances following a few months’ hiatus.
Bebe Cool announced in August that he was suspending all public performances after he was pelted with bottles and stones by opposition fans during the Swangz All Star Concert that was headlined by Jamaican singer Tarrus Riley at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Fans were angry after he suggested that then incarcerated singer Bobi Wine had faked his injuries following his arrest by security personnel in Arua Municipality.
