Uganda Premier League side Bidco Uganda Limited Football Club (BUL FC) is set to let go of Nine players that are deemed to be surplus to the requirement as the 2020/2021 squad takes shape.
Among the players who are on the verge of facing the axe is the former Bright Stars forward Banga Farouk who failed to impress coach Arthur Kyesimira in the previous season.
Banga along with Wilson Makuro, Saddam Masereka, Charles Ssebutinde and Amos Etoju are the players with valid contracts which are yet to be terminated due to unconvincing displays at the club.
Other players on the want away list are Allan Tarsis Munaaba, Joshua Lubwama, goalkeeper Eric Kibowa and veteran defender Musa Walangalira whose contracts are expiring and won’t be renewed.
The club is expected to acquire fresh legs in their aim for boosting their squad going into the 2020/21 campaign.
The abrupt ending of the 2019/2020 season saw BUL FC finish 6th with 36 points from the 25 games played.
