Media was last week awash with reports that singing boy group B2C (Born To Conquer) had fired their longtime manager Mugerwa Andrew commonly known as Andy Events.
At the time, reports suggested they had taken the decision after Andy paid them peanuts following their hugely successful ‘VIP Concert’ that took place at Auto Spa Munyonyo last month.
Andy was quick to refute the reports, saying yes indeed they had a few disagreements which are healthy in any kind of relationship but it was the media that was blowing things out of proportion.
He stressed that everything is settled and they are all doing well.
However, B2C have broken their silence today morning, Wednesday 14 November 2018, confirming they have parted ways.
The singing trio that is composed of Mr. Lee, Delivad Julio and Bobby Lash has released a statement saying they have relieved Andy Events who described as a guardian, big brother and a parent, of his managerial duties, adding that they will be unveiling their new management soon.
According to B2C, they made the painful decision because Andy Events has several commitments that might hinder his managerial performance yet the entertainment industry is very demanding and requires 100% input.
“However we are sorry to inform you that Mr. Mugerwa Andrew has got other pressing commitments which cannot enable him to continue as our manager. The entertainment industry is very demanding, you have to put in 100% of your time in order to succeed,” reads part of the statement.
The statement ends with the boys expressing massive gratitude towards Andy Event who they say will remain their consultant.
