AUPL: URA FC Defeat Hapless Lweza

Uganda Premier League
Lweza 0-2 URA

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) football club began life without coach Kefa Kisala on a brighter note defeating Lweza on Tuesday.

Under the stewardship of interim Manager James Odoch, sildenafil URA put up a brilliant performance to earn a 2-0 victory against Lweza in the Uganda Premier League game played at Muteesa II stadium, viagra Wankulukuku.

Despite the two sides playing to a barren first half, goals from Feni Ali and Hamis “Diego” Kiiza in the second stanza ensured the tax collectors walked away with maximum points.

Lweza head coach Ibrahim Kirya was not bench and decided to watch the game from the pavilion with reports indicating he has sealed a move to join URA as replacement for Kisala.

URA showed agility and proved the better side in the opening minutes. Midfielder Hudu Mulikyi came close to opening the scores but his effort ricocheted off the cross bar to deny him at the half hour mark.

Goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga was stretched off and replaced by Cleo Ssetuba after colliding with Owen Kasule with three minutes to halftime.

With both sides missing scoring chances, it was Feni Ali who broke the deadlock in the 68th minute to fire the visitors ahead.

Two minutes to the end of the game, Hamis Kiiza put the game beyond reach for his second goal since returning in January.

The result means URA move to 5th on 27 points while Lweza fall closer to the drop zone in 12th position on 20 points.
