AUPL: SC Villa Seek Perfect Start in Masaka

Sports Club Villa make the long awaited return to Masaka with a clash against Onduparaka this Sunday.

The Jogoos host Onduparaka this Sunday at the Masaka Recreation ground for the first time in over two decades. The last time the record champions played at the ground was in 1993.

Under new coach, Wasswa Bossa Villa will be seeking for vengeance for the loss in the first leg at the Betway Greenlight stadium.

The caterpillars won 4-3 in a thrilling game which led to the sacking of then head coach Deo Sserwadda.

Bossa has been in charge for two games earning four points in return (1-0 vs Sadolin Paints and 0-0 Proline)

Emmanuel Okwi has been in sublime form since joining SC Villa in January scoring 3 goals in five games.

Onduparaka on the other hand come into the game on the back of a goalless draw against Bright stars at home.

With just five points between the two sides, a win for the caterpillars will see them draw just three points behind SC Villa who have 38 points while the Jogoos have a chance to draw on level on points with KCCA FC (41 points).
