Ugandan long distance runner Sarah Chelangat has departed for Netherland to compete in her second international race of the 2020 season.
The 20-year old athlete is scheduled to compete in the 5,000m Hengelo Meeting due October 10, 2020 in Hengelo.
Chelangat departed on Wednesday night (11.00pm) and is expected to fly back home on October 12th.
Chelangat over the weekend finished 9th in 5,000m with 16:02.24 time during the Kip Keino Classic World Athletics Continental Tour in Nairobi, Kenya.
In 2018, she clocked 19:18.9 in the six kilometer race at the Jinja’s exhibition ground to win the National Women’s Junior Cross-country title.
