Having unveiled their five-year strategic plan last month, FUFA Big League outfit Arua Hill Sports Club has embarked on strengthening their squad prior to the 2020/21 season kick-off.
The West Nile outfit has unveiled forward Rashid Agau as their second signing for this transfer window.
Agau joins Arua Hill SC on a two-year contract from Maroons Football Club, a side which was relegated to the same division after the abrupt end of the previous campaign.
Agau who graduated from Arua Kids League has previously played for Arua Central (now defunct), Onduparaka FC, Dove All Stars, and Maroons FC.
“I want to be top scorer, play good football and make the fans happy. I am looking at scoring more than ten goals to enrich my CV and most importantly help promote the club to the top flight,” Agau noted after completing his move.
He added, “the administrative structure they have put in place has been an inspiration behind joining the club and yes, even the physical structures they are putting in place, the Arua Hill Stadium shows professionalism which is good.”
He also played in the National Post Primaries representing St. Mary’s Kitende in 2011 and 2012 where he guided the school to two Copa Coca Cola titles and two East Africa Championships.
He joins former Vipers, Bright Stars, and Kyetume FC left back Dan Birikwalira who was unveiled on Monday.
Next season, Arua Hill will be coached by Hussein Mbalangu who will be assisted by Joseph Kiwanuka while Dudu Bosco will serve as the Technical Director.
