TV presenter Annatalia Oze turned a year older earlier this week and to celebrate her day, she decided to spend it with new mothers at Nabweeru Health Center.
The former Spark TV Live Wire presenter donated several items like basins, soap, among others and talked to them about the importance of Family Planning and ways they could help support themselves without depending so much on their spouses.
The women were so thrilled by her gesture that one of them decided to name her new born daughter after her.
Annatalia has taken to Instagram to document the visit with various pictures and also shed light on the plight of the mothers that give birth at Nabweeru Health Center who are only given a few hours at the facility to rest before they are discharged.
According to Annatalia, it’s because the health center has only 5 beds that cannot accommodate all the new mothers.
Annatalia runs a charity foundation called Annatalia 4 Her Foundation that aims at helping underprivileged women.
