Singer and philanthropist Angella Katatumba’s shine isn’t about to disappear.
On Saturday afternoon, the singer received a lifetime achievement award from Bweyogerere Rotary Club, for her outstanding support in charity.
Also serving as the chief guest at the event, the excited Angela received her gong after a fun-filled afternoon.
“I was extremely honoured to be awarded,” Angela said.
This comes at a time when the singer and acting Honorary Consul of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Uganda is gearing up for a charity drive.
Slated for June 30, 2017 at Hotel Africana, the drive is an initiative missioned to fundraise for the construction of a home for Angel’s Center children with special needs.
Angel’s Center in Nansana takes care of kids with mental challenges to help them become self-sufficient individuals in the future.
