On Saturday evening, American Saxophonist Marcus Anderson and Kizomba star Yola Semedo thrilled the crowd with their astounding performance at the 10th edition of Johnnie Walker Jazz & Soul Safari.

The sophisticated event that was held at Lugogo Cricket oval attracted the rich jazz lovers and enthusiasts from all corners of Kampala who could not miss a night of a lifetime.

The evening was kicked off by Uganda’s very own guitarist Myko Ouma and saxophonist Michael Kitanda who warmed up the crowd with a sensational performance.

Those who had come just to pass time surely added jazz to their music genre list after Anderson’s performance.

“The dance is cozy, it needs partners holding while moving left and right,” the light skinned song bird said.

Most of the songs she sang were love Ballards and regardless of them being in a foreign language, her serenade performance was still irresistible.

Founders of Jazz Safari Tshaka Mayanja and Elijah Kitaka thanked the audience for turning up and supporting jazz music and promised to go on for more 5years.

“We put in a lot of research in this project so that we bring you the best performers, most of you did not know Anderson but I bet you will never forget him,” Tshaka said.
