Asked why he chose Mya to headline the ‘30th All Jazz Music Safari’ of all artists in the world, TShaka Mayanja, the brains behind the concert said that they always consider the best that a particular artist has to offer.
“We always consider pedigree, how best the artist can entertain the audience and how many songs one has.
I do a lot of research for the artists I bring and this time round Mya fits it all.”
Mayanja also added that, “As you are all aware, no one will trust someone who has one or two songs because they won’t satisfy the audience enough, so in that, they will not have their money worth.”
He also added that he usually chooses artists who can do live music.
Tshaka will be marking his 30th anniversary in the music business, a proud milestone he has achieved which has earned him respect and recognition amongst many.
Mya has for over two decades charmed music lovers, claiming her mark as a true princess of R&B all over the world.
