Onduparaka FC’s spending spree continues as the club recruits their seventh new signing of the season in Allan Busobozi.
The 18-year old is a former Football for Good (FFG) club captain.
According to the team leadership, he is expected to add more competition as well as improve the squad depth rather than being an under-study for the already gloomed senior players.
The player has just signed a 4-year contract with the club joining other new signings like Rashid Okocha, Karrim Ndugwa, Rajab Kakooza, Nicholas Ssebwato, Aggrey Kirya and Bob Kasozi.
The Caterpillar’s coach Charles Livinston Mbabazi indicated that the player will be the future of the club:
“He is so talented, very versatile and he has been groomed by European Coaches, so it is not difficult to use him in technical games, we also need to trust young players because they are the future of the club,” he said.
Busobozi who had trials with the club last season will directly join his team-mates on July 10 for the start of the new season training in Arua.
The Arua based club will look to improve on their league performance of last season as the club finished their debut season in 5th with 45 points from 30 games.
