A concerned official at the Ugandan Embassy in Brussels used social media to circulate Odong’s passport particulars.

Odong’s passport number is B1140204.
The passport showed Odong was born on September 30, 1963 in Gulu District, Northern Uganda.
Officials said Odong was using the Uganda Passport enroute to Geneva.
“Information confirmed,” said an official at Uganda Media Centre.
“This was an Assistant Commissioner in charge of Agrochemicals and was travelling to Geneva on official work.”
The cause of Odong’s death remains unclear until postmortem results are shared by relevant authorities.
Odong most likely left Entebbe International Airport on this past Friday night with KLM.
