The highly anticipated presentation for the report on the Age Limit constitutional amendment bill, on the floor of parliament may not take place today.
The report which was expected to be tabled this afternoon by the Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee, has not been included on the items to be tackled today on the Order Paper.
#Uganda parliamentary order paper for today out. Bill removing presidential age limits not slated for debate today but in ‘business to follow’. I’m guessing it’s all that’s on MPs’ minds. Anti-counterfeit and bio fuels bills to be debated instead. pic.twitter.com/2hwargjPvt

Instead, it was listed first on the “Notice of Business to Follow,” which usually includes items that will be handled on another day.
Usually such items are not ready, but it is unclear whether this is the case with the age limit report.
It however, should be recalled that the speaker can always amend the Order paper before the plenary commences.
