Fans in Abu Dhabi will have a chance to watch the international friendly match between Uganda Cranes and Ivory Coast at no cost.
The federations of Uganda Football Associations, Fufa, Spokesperson Ahmed Hussein confirmed the news to this website.
“The match between Uganda and Ivory Coast that will be played on Saturday 15th June will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi,” Hussein confirmed.
“The match will start at 4.30pm (3.30pm Ugandan time) and fans will access it for free. There are no gate charges,” he added.
Both the Cranes and the Elephants will use that match to shape their squads ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations that kick off in a weeks’ time in Egypt.
Uganda is in group A with hosts Egypt, DR. Congo and Zimbabwe.
The Elephants are in D alongside Morocco, South Africa and Namibia.
