Forum for Democratic Party (FDC) president, illness http://crfg.org/wp-includes/class-wp-feed-cache-transient.php Rt. Maj.Gen Mugisha Muntu has Monday called upon Ugandans to “fight and overcome the psychological warfare that president Museveni has launched by claiming to own this country.”

Muntu while addressing the press at the party headquarters noted that its time the question of whom does power belong to in Uganda be resolved by all adult Ugandans.

“Museveni noting that he wouldn’t hand over power to the opposition and claiming that he owns both the money and the army are statements that every adult Ugandan must respond to, malady ” Muntu said.

Muntu said Ugandans must understand that power belongs to them while the army is accountable to them and the government in power but not to a particular individual who wishes to personalize it.

“Museveni is playing psychological warfare with the intention of creating a situation where the population gives up on power and enters into a state of hopelessness so as to surrender power.”

“This is a battle Ugandans must decide to either fight back or give up and get trampled upon by an individual; those that have lost courage should be encouraged and press on.”

Muntu added that this shows that Ugandans are totally undermined by president Museveni if they chose to just settle with his utterances.

“We are to stage a fight on these premises until Ugandans decide on what they want; do people want to live as slaves and be stamped upon or own power as the constitution mandates.”
